What is Digital 24? I didn’t know or fully understand what Digital 24 was until I spent several days on work experience from my school – Campbell College.
“An independent digital marketing agency” simply doesn’t sum up the work that this complex company completes daily. I have only spent three days here but in this time, I have learnt a lot about the company and its aims in both the present and the future. Not only is this company extremely ambitious and hard- working but also ingenious in its own line of work which is seen clearly through winning countless awards.
Regarding the actual work I helped out with here; I was shadowing several of the people who work here and I was given the task of aiding in the development of some social media adverts, and the promotion of some of the company’s clients via some social media applications. I feel that this experience gave me an interesting insight into the digital marketing world and before my work experience I was quite apprehensive and slightly dismissive about working in this industry. In all honesty I thought that working in an industry such as this would eventually get quite boring and thought that this would be a very boring place to be. I thought that it would be a typical boring quiet office that is simply all about the work. Now after completing my work experience I realise how wrong I was about this place; it is in fact the complete opposite to what I originally thought. I have to say that each day I was here was a digital rollercoaster, and the “office” is anything but a typical office; it’s a vibrant, vigorous and lively environment. As I said I was apprehensive and dismissive – however – this was washed away immediately once I was greeted with an excellent warm welcome from those that work here, who simply couldn’t be nicer if they tried.
In conclusion, my time at this company was brilliant and not at all what I thought it was going to be. I started this blog off by asking what is digital 24? I believe that digital 24 is a fantastic, contemporary, and complex company which is revolutionising the digital marketing industry, with workers whom are evidently unbelievably enthusiastic to go to work each day. This experience has given me a lot to consider – what university to go to study digital marketing – as it is clear to me now that it is the future.
